Maryam Shariat Mudrick, Managing Partner

Maryam (she/her) Managing Partner at Together Events and Co-Owner at Greater Good Events. She brings over 20 years of creative consulting, social impact, and event planning experience to the team. She has worked across state and continental lines to design and deliver unique and thoughtful weddings, galas, conferences, and experiences. With an eye for design and the handmade, Maryam is always striving to incorporate meaningful and personalized elements to experiences without increasing costs or complexity. Maryam lives in Astoria, New York, with her husband, Ross, and stepdaughter, Emma. When not working on events, she's organizing in her community to advance individual dignity and collective equity with Astoria Mutual Aid Network and QNS Collaborative, or getting her hands dirty (literally) with her own creative hobby (Check out her tie-dye on Etsy).

Sam Arpino, Event Director

Sam is a human-first planner, bringing over a decade of experience in event management, people development, and nonprofit leadership to the team. Sam’s portfolio includes designing, planning, and leading weddings, professional retreats and conferences, and live entertainment events, from concerts to celebrity speaking engagements. Sam holds a Masters of Science in Event Management from NYU’s Tisch Center of Hospitality, where she produced original research for event professionals to leverage DEI strategies in their work. Her passion for, and commitment to, incorporating the full human experience into her events has made her a trusted partner to clients from coast to coast.

Things that bring her joy include deep talks about astrology (she’s a Leo, unsurprisingly), all things Spooky Szn, and stating her case on why NYC is the greatest city in the world.
