Tara & Keara’s Portland Wedding-iversary

Tara & Keara got married 11 years ago, but they never had a wedding celebration with friends and family. For their ten-year anniversary, they planned to host a wedding celebration in Portland, Oregon, but it needed to be postponed due to the COVID pandemic. In September of 2021, they were finally able to celebrate 11 years of love with their friends and family at the Hoyt Arboretum and Cooper's Hall NE.

We loved being able to collaborate as both thought partners in the creation of the ceremony script and wedding weekend itinerary, as well as providing the Month-Of Coordination service. Their guests flew in from all over the US, so Tara and Keara were excited to show them some of their favorite haunts in Portland—we helped generate some ideas for their wedding weekend and drafted sample itineraries for them to share with their guests.

It was important to Tara and Keara to book mostly queer vendors, and we loved working with some of our favorite Portland wedding vendors—photographer Jamie Carle, DJ Jess the Ripper, and Small Yard Flowers.
